Who we are

Torr is a fitness app published by Forge Gym Systems. This policy explains what the app collects, why, and what you can do about it. It covers the Torr iOS app and this website.

What we collect

Information you give us

• Your name and email address when you create an account.
• A profile photo, if you choose to add one.
• Fitness information you enter: body weight, height, goals, workouts you complete, weights and reps you log, and meals you check off.
• Messages you send through the app's chat.

Collected automatically

• An account identifier created by Firebase Authentication.
• A push notification token, so we can send the alerts you turn on.
• Diagnostic and crash information, to find and fix bugs.
• Your subscription status, received from Apple.

What we do not collect

• GPS or precise location.
• Your phone contacts.
• Your browsing outside the app.
• Payment card details. Subscriptions are billed by Apple; we never see or store your card.

How we use it

• To run your account and show you your own training history and progress.
• To generate workout and meal plans based on the profile you fill in.
• To send notifications you have enabled, such as rest timers and messages.
• To confirm whether your subscription is active.
• To fix crashes and improve the app.

We do not sell your personal information, and we do not use it for advertising.

Who else sees it

We use service providers who process data on our behalf: Google Firebase (accounts, database, storage, push notifications) and Apple (subscription billing and status). We use Anthropic's API to generate workout and diet plans; the fitness details needed for the plan are sent for that purpose and are not used to train their models. We may disclose information if the law requires it.

How long we keep it

We keep your account data while your account exists. Ask us to delete your account and we will remove your personal data within 30 days, except anything we must keep for legal or accounting reasons.

Your choices

• Ask for a copy of your data, or ask us to correct or delete it.
• Turn any category of notification off in the app's notification settings.
• Cancel your subscription at any time in Settings › Apple ID › Subscriptions on your device.

If you live in California, the CCPA gives you rights to know, delete, and not be discriminated against for exercising them. We honour those requests for everyone.

Children

Torr is not intended for children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect their information. If you believe a child has given us data, contact us and we will delete it.

Security

Data is encrypted in transit and at rest by our infrastructure providers, and access is restricted to the people who need it. No system is perfectly secure, but we take this seriously.

Changes

If we change this policy we will update the date above and, for anything significant, tell you in the app.
